Job Description

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.


Introduction: Prime Hires is seeking a skilled Operations Assistant to join our client.


Contract Dates: 6 months

Pay Rates: TBD

Business Hours: Monday to Friday



Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves as part of the Operations Team for BMO Enterprise Risk and Portfolio Management
  • Processing employee transitions
  • Intakes, onboarding & offboarding
  • Internal transfers
  • Utilize ServiceNow to log and resolve tickets
  • Manage building access including badge management/allocation, floor headcounts, maintaining distributions lists for each team
  • Oversee the provisioning of equipment and assets requested by internal teams
  • Manage the floors they are on for each location
  • Working with facilities to ensure cleanliness and over maintenance is up to standard, and office/kitchen supplies are stocked
  • Compliance includes working with facilities to coordinate fire drills etc.
  • Confirming desks that have been reserved are in use


Experience & Qualification Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Operations 2+ years
  • Previous experience in Customer Service 4+ years [can be any customer service-related role]
  • People person, and team player looking to foster a positive team culture as they will act as the point of contact for request coming from all over Enterprise Risk and Portfolio Management
  • Previous Experience with ServiceNow


Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Must have superior time management skills, and ability to be accountable for their own working schedule
  • Detail oriented, and willing to take initiative without being directed
